Meredith Reed

When Meredith did her first CrossFit workout in 2011, she legit thought she was gonna die. She’d spent her 20s bemoaning the fact she didn’t exercise enough, and let's just say…it showed. But the stakes were high—she needed a fresh approach to managing depression and averting the health problems that plagued her family—so she knew she had to stick with it. And she did! Meredith has now ‘CrossFitted’ her way through 2 pregnancies and recoveries, lost 50 pounds more than once, transformed her relationship to food and all but eliminated her depression. She is embracing her 40s fitter and happier than she’s ever been.

Having traveled the path from not-fit to fit and experienced the powerful physical and emotional benefits of that transformation, Meredith wants everyone to know: “You can change. You can feel good again. You are more powerful than you know. Just show up and let CrossFit work its magic! You’ll be so proud of yourself, and your family will be forever grateful.”

Prior to coaching at Ohio Strength, Meredith was a bicycle instructor who taught people to ride competently and confidently in traffic. She can still lay down some wicked sexy bike law facts, if you please, though she’s also happy just to share all she’s learned on her CrossFit journey—and help you along on yours!
